Song Matchmakers Network, created by Frances and Harry Date, is a full service music publisher, licensor, and music library. As song agents, we pitch your songs for artist and multimedia placements. We also handle contract negotiations, licensing, and royalty administration of your songs. We have formed a network of talented songwriters, Indie artists, bands, and composers from the USA, Canada, Europe, Africa, and of course, Nashville, TN.
Through Song Matchmakers Network, you can take advantage of the wide array of connections we have established with music industry people—working to place your music with artists, movies, TV, commercials, and many other media for generating revenue for you.

We have connected with all the major TV networks and other networks such as ABC, NBC, Fox, Lifetime, MTV, Showtime, HBO, VH1 and others, and also work with feature and Indie film supervisors. Song Matchmakers Writers’ Programs
Each song accepted in the Song Matchmakers Writers’ Programs will be placed in one of three programs: Gold, Silver, and Gold/Silver.
Gold Songs are pitched to major labels for major artists or an artist on a label with major distribution in the mainstream of pop, rock, folk music and other music genres. They are also pitched to mid-size and smaller labels for artists in the U.S. and Europe in all music genres, including country, pop, R&B, Euro Dance, hip-hop, blues, etc.
Silver Songs are pitched for movies, TV shows, commercials, and video games in all music genres.These songs are also added to our music library.
Gold/Silver Songs - A combination of The Gold and Silver Program.

Song Matchmakers Productions
Song Matchmakers Productions, a network of talented people from all over the world who are willing and able to write and produce songs on short notice that meet specific needs for a movie or TV show.
When we get a special request for a song, if you're in our network we'll let you know. You can submit a song that matches the request or write a song and produce a master quality recording of it in a few days, if necessary. If you’re writing a song, why not write for a specific need? If the song is not used, you have a new song that could be used at another time for another pitch. Also, many times a music supervisor will send a song they like to other music supervisors, because they often have similar needs on certain projects. These song requests will not be posted in the song search area as they are confidential. We will send you information by e-mail. See Production Program.
Artists' Program

Want to record a song from our catalog?
If you would like to record one of our songs, please request a mechanical license by contacting us at SongMatchmakers@Comcast.net. Track leasing is also available on many songs.
The Mechanical License is the right to “mechanically” reproduce or distribute the song via a fixed medium or digital sales. The royalty rate is 9.1 cents for each unit sold. Example:
1,000 units - $91.00
2,000 units - $218.00
10,000 units - $910.00
Track Leasing
You can lease the pre-mixed tracks of our original songs and save a lot of time, trouble, and money. Why spend hundreds of dollars in a studio with a live band recording new tracks? Listen to our male and female catalog and contact us for a license for the songs you want. Not all tracks are available for leasing. If it is, it will state: Track Leasing Available.
Track leasing is available for: demo, showcase performances, CD’s, Internet sales, and live performances.
Silver Licensing Program
If you’re looking for songs for your project, visit our Song Catalog. The songs are listed by musical style, male or female vocals, and instrumental tracks. All songs have song descriptions, MP3 files, and lyrics. Most songs are cleared and have a movie clapboard image to indicate that they have been. All instrumentals are pre-cleared.
